A while back I told you about a special visit that I had in Hershey, Pennsylvania with my Great Uncle Ralph Markle. What made it so special was that after so many years of having our family estranged from the rest of the Markle's because of events over 75 years ago we finally had a chance to meet for the 1st time.... and a great meeting it was. After a few minutes I saw so many things that I knew in my dad... a man who was deeply devoted to his wife and family. A man who spoke softly, and listened to our words. A man whom we have come to have complete respect for.
The past week, we received a special envelope from Ralph that we did not expect... some very special pictures of his family.... and now I can share with the rest of the family.
