We received a card from my sister-in-law Betsy yesterday that had a special surprise for us... lost pictures.
Well, not entirely lost... just forgotton. In the days before digital photography and instant gratification, I know this has happened to a lot of us... we snapped some pictures with our (film) cameras and since we didn't finish the roll it just sat in the camera, and sometimes years later we would get it developed and "surprise!" we have fresh memories of something that happened years ago.
In this case, this camera had been handed from mother to daughter sometime after 1999 with a roll of film still in it, and only recently, my niece Angie developed that roll that included a trip that we shared with Jerry and Betsy in the spring of 1999 to Disneyland.
Since the kids graduate from High School this year, you can see just how much they have changed in the past 11 years.
